LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A teen who has repeatedly been in trouble with the law was arrested again on disorderly conduct and public intoxication charges.
Police arrested Josh Young over the weekend after he allegedly beat on an apartment window and walked into traffic.
According to an arrest report, it happened late Saturday in the 6600 block of the Outer Loop. Police were called there on reports of a man beating on an apartment window and refusing to leave.
When officers arrived on the scene, they saw 20-year-old Joshua Young walking in the roadway. When asked to walk toward the police vehicle, police say Young told them he was "feeling weird."
According to the arrest report, when asked if he had taken any intoxicating substances, Young replied he couldn't remember.
Police say Young's sweatshirt was on backwards, and that he was "acting very paranoid." At one point, police say Young began walking backwards into the road and traffic, towards a Pizza Hut. That's when officers advised employees at the restaurant to lock the door.
As officers were arresting Young, they say he became combative and had to be subdued using "the hobble" (a leg restraint).
Police say Young tried to kick out the back window of the patrol car as he was being taken into custody.
Young was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and public intoxication.
