LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Clark County, Indiana, jury convicted a man for the rape of a 13-year-old girl more than 20 years ago.
Police used forensic DNA technology to link David Hollowell to the crime, which happened in Charlestown, Indiana, in 2003.
The case went cold in 2005, but was reopened in 2020. Investigators arrested Hollowell in 2023.
His trial started last week, and ended Wednesday. After two hours of deliberations, the jury found Hollowell guilty of rape, child molesting and burglary.
