LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police are investigating after a man was shot in the leg Thursday afternoon near the city's Pleasure Ridge Park neighborhood.
Officers responded to the reported shooting in the 3100 block of Fordhaven Road, near St. Andrews Church Road, just after 4 p.m., LMPD spokesperson Aaron Ellis said in a news release.
Once on scene, police found a man shot in the leg. Officers rendered aid until EMS arrived and took the victim to UofL Hospital. The victim's injuries are not believed to be life-threatening, Ellis said.
LMPD's Non-Fatal Shooting Unit is investigating. Detectives believe the shooting happened at a different location before "the victim made his way to the listed address." There are currently no suspects and there have been no arrests.
