LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A local car dealership is trying to identify suspects who have stolen two cars from the lot.

In the last few weeks, car thieves have kicked in the front door at Cravens Cars, grabbed keys and then drove cars off the lot. The suspects were recorded on surveillance cameras, so the owner and police are asking for the community's feedback to identify them.

Steve Craven, owner of Cravens Cars, has dealt with more than customers walking onto his lot at 3999 Crittenden Drive.

"Over the past nine months, we've been a target, so to speak," Craven said. "In the last year we've had two cars stolen and 14 sets of keys. We had our door kicked in twice, and we've gotten zero of the two cars back.

Craven said thieves are driving his vehicles off the lot.

Suspect believed to have stolen a car at Cravens Cars in Louisville

"There is a guy in the back seat, there's a girl driving and then there is him," Craven said.

There are cameras around the lot. Surveillance footage shows the suspects driving onto the lot and kicking in the front door.

"That's where they got in," Craven said.

Once inside, one suspect fell as they were coming through the door, but they quickly made their way to the car keys and then back to the lot.

"When they come out the door, they run out here and they start hitting all the buttons until something lights up," Craven said.

The car dealer said the suspects have been back multiple times. They have stolen a 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe and 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee. They returned early Monday morning.

"They came again with the sets of keys that they stole from the week before and tried to take some cars that we had blocked in where there was no way for them to get out," Craven said.

Louisville Metro Police's Fourth Division has responded to the break ins.

"I have three police reports now," Craven said.

So far, police haven't identified any suspects or cars. Craven is hoping to get some help from social media.

"We've got over 500 shares and we've got 35,000 clicks on the last one the last year alone," Craven said. "We haven't been able to find these guys."
