LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man charged with robbing three different gas stations in Louisville was arrested Thursday, nearly a year after the first robbery.
Damien Sublett's alleged crime spree started Aug. 6, 2024, at the Circle K at 2911 Bardstown Road.
Police said he entered the business and immediately went behind the counter to confront the employee. He then grabbed the cash drawer and ran from the store.
A week later, on Aug. 13, he allegedly robbed another Circle K on Preston Highway, near Fern Valley Road. Police said Sublett entered and again went immediately behind the counter. He then "placed a object in the victim's back" before stealing multiple cash drawers and leaving.
The alleged crime spree continued into this year, with Sublett allegedly robbing the Thorntons at 3154 Bardstown Road in Buechel on April 25.
Sublett pleaded not guilty during his arraignment Friday morning. The judge set his bond at $75,000 cash and appointed a public defender on Sublett's behalf.
He is due back in court June 16.
