LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The LMPD Homicide Unit is investigating after a man and a woman were found shot and killed in Louisville's Bashford Manor neighborhood early Sunday evening.
The shooting was reported in the 2100 block of Goldsmith Lane just after 5 p.m. on Oct. 14 with "multiple victims."
The Jefferson County Coroner's Office says 36-year-old Tiffany Tomerlin and 41-year-old Jeremy Logsdon both died from gunshot wounds.
Officer Matt Sanders, a spokesperson for LMPD, said police are not looking for any suspects.
Family members gathered outside the house on Sunday were overwhelmed. They did not want to go on camera, asking for privacy, but they did give some context to what they believe happened.
They told WDRB they are related to the woman who lived in the house. They say the two had a complicated history, and broke up several times, most recently ten days ago.
The family says the boyfriend broke into the woman's house while she was on the phone with her mother. From there, they're not sure what happened, but it ended with both of them dead.
The family also said no one else was inside the home when this happened.
The LMPD Homicide Unit is investigating the case as a domestic incident.
