LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man is expected to survive after being shot multiple times Sunday evening near Fairdale in Louisville.

Dwight Mitchell, a spokesman for Louisville Metro Police, said officers responded on a shooting in the 5900 block of New Cut Road just after 9 p.m.

Police found a man who was shot multiple times and he was taken to UofL Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

LMPD's Non-Fatal shooting unit is investigating and there are no suspects.
