LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) – Louisville Metro Police found a man dead of an apparent gunshot wound in the Russell neighborhood early Saturday morning.
LMPD said officers responded to the area of South 31st Street and Del Park Terrace just past 12 a.m.
EMS pronounced the victim dead after medics and officers rendered aid at the scene, according to an LMPD statement.
Detectives had no suspects in the shooting as of early Saturday morning.
It is the fifth criminal homicide in Louisville this year.
