LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man as shot early Monday morning on Baxter Avenue near a busy bar district celebrating New Year's Eve.
Louisville Metro Police spokesman Dwight Mitchell said officers found a man shot in the foot around 1:30 a.m. Jan. 1 in the 900 block of Baxter Avenue, which is near Breckinridge Street.
Mitchell said the man was transported to UofL Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police have no suspects in the shooting, Mitchell said. Anyone with any information related to the shooting is asked to call LMPD's anonymous tip line at 502-574-5673.
