LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man was taken to the hospital after being shot in the Park Hill neighborhood Thursday afternoon.
John Bradley, a spokesman for Louisville Metro Police, said officers responded to the 1800 block of West Lee Street on a reported shooting around 4:30 p.m.
Police found a man who had been shot. He was taken to UofL Hospital and is expected to survive, police said.
Bradley said a preliminary investigation showed that the shooting occurred in the area of Woodland Avenue and Temple Street.
LMPD's Non-Fatal Shooting Unit is investigating.
