LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man was hospitalized Thursday evening after a shooting in the Russell neighborhood, according to Louisville Metro Police.
John Bradley, a spokesman for LMPD, said officers responded on a reported shooting in the 2100 block of West Muhammad Ali Boulevard around 7 p.m.
Officers found a man who had been shot. Police said he was taken to UofL Hospital with serious injuries. In an update on Friday, police said the victim died in the hospital.
LMPD's Non-Fatal Shooting Unit is investigating the incident, but there aren't any suspects.
