LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDBR) — An Orange County, Indiana, man was arrested and is facing child pornography charges.
Indiana State Police said deputies with the Orange County Sheriff's Office arrested 36-year-old Brandon Lee Alexander on Monday, April 1, after almost a yearlong investigation.
A cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children in July 2023 launched the investigation.
The cyber tip said a specific account may have been used to transfer child pornography images or videos. During the investigation, a search warrant was executed in French Lick, Indiana, in January 2024, and evidence found in that search ultimately led to Alexander's arrest.
Alexander was in court on Wednesday, where he pleaded not guilty to five counts of felony possession of child pornography. He is being held on a $250,000 full cash bond, and his next court date is set for May 6.
