LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A teenage girl is recovering in the hospital after a shooting in Valley Station Monday evening.
Louisville Metro Police responded to the 5400 block of Eight Bells Lane around 7:30 p.m. on a reported shooting near Elzie Road and Dixie Highway.
Once on scene, officers found a teen girl, believed to be 13, who had been shot in the leg, LMPD spokesperson Aaron Ellis said.
Officers were able to render aid until EMS arrived and transported the teen to UofL Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
