LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A teenager was taken to the hospital after accidentally shooting himself in the leg Wednesday night in the Tyler Park neighborhood.
LMPD spokesman Dwight Mitchell said it happened in the 1800 block of Rosewood Avenue at 10:15 p.m. The 17-year-old boy taken to University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
In an initial statement about the shooting around 11:30 p.m. Monday night, LMPD investigators said they located the boy win a gunshot wound to his leg and it was unknown at the time how the incident occurred.
