LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville police are investigating after a woman was shot on Monday morning near Hikes Point.
In a news release Monday, Louisville Metro Police said 6th Division officers were called about 9:45 a.m. to El Conquistador Place near Breckinridge Lane.
When officers arrived, they found a woman who had been shot. She was taken by ambulance to UofL Hospital in downtown Louisville. Police said she was in stable condition. No details were released about her injuries.
LMPD said all parties involved in the shooting had been accounted for, but did not say if anyone was taken into custody.
The LMPD Domestic Violence Unit is leading the investigation.
