LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Fire tore through a storage facility in Fern Creek early Monday, damaging dozens of units.Â
It happened in the 5800 block of Fern Valley Road just before 1 a.m. Aug. 4., according to a news release from the Fern Creek Fire Department.Â
That's where units from Fern Creek Fire & EMS and Okolona Fire responded to a commercial fire. Fire crews arrived to heavy flames coming from a storage facility. Approximately 25 firefighters gained control of the fire within 20 minutes, according to the release.
Approximately 40 individual storage units suffered heavy fire and/or smoke damage. No injuries were reported.
Crews are working to determine the cause of the fire.
