LOUISVILLE, Ky. (LBF) -- Bellarmine University is expanding its campus and student opportunities through a $75 million fundraising campaign tied to its 75th anniversary.

More than $50 million has already been raised during the campaign’s early phase, our partners at Louisville Business First reported. Funds will support scholarships and emergency aid, faculty development, career programs tied to the region’s workforce and upgrades to NCAA Division I athletic facilities.

Fall 2025 enrollment reached 3,078 students, nearly 200 more than last year. Bellarmine provides scholarship aid to all first-year students.

Bellarmine reports that 99% of graduates are employed or enrolled in graduate school within six months, far above the national average. Earlier this year, the Carnegie Foundation named the school an “Opportunity College,” a distinction earned by about 16% of U.S. institutions for combining access with career success.

"It is about ensuring every student has the support to thrive while preparing talented graduates who strengthen Louisville and the region," Bellarmine President Susan M. Donovan told LBF.

Founded in 1950, Bellarmine is the sixth-largest college in the Louisville area.
