LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A former Kentucky teacher is turning his childhood hobby into a career.
Duane Keaton has spent more than 40 years collecting Legos. Now, he's teaching engineering, architecture, and math through the bricks.
Keaton created the "Brick Mobile," a bus that travels to schools, libraries, and birthday parties to teach lessons.
"I don't see Legos as a toy," Keaton said. "I see them more as like clay, pencils, or paint. They're a medium to create things."
Currently, the Brick Mobile serves all parts of Kentucky and some parts of southern Indiana and southern Ohio.
Keaton is hoping to expand his business to help with occupational therapy patients, and start visiting other places like hospitals and senior living centers.
