LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Jefferson County Public Schools announced Thursday it is turning to a nationwide search to fill four top executive roles as the district looks to reshape central office operations.

The district is seeking a chief business officer, executive officer of finance, executive officer of information technology and executive officer of talent.

JCPS said the positions are key to Superintendent Brian Yearwood’s plan to strengthen support systems and improve efficiency across JCPS.

An outside search firm was hired to help recruit candidates from across the country. JCPS said anyone who previously applied will need to submit a new application as part of the updated hiring process.

Yearwood said the focus is on finding the right fit for each role as the district continues its long-term improvement efforts.
