LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Jefferson County Public Schools (JCPS) decided for Non-Traditional Instruction (NTI) for Friday amid severe winter weather in Louisville.

On Thursday, JCPS decided to end all after-school events by 6 p.m. because of the possibility of snow. Students originally returned to in-person classes Thursday after two days of NTI due to winter weather.

A winter weather advisory was issued for Jefferson County starting noon Thursday until 7 p.m. Friday. There's the possibility of a wintry mix of snow and some freezing rain. This could cause slippery road conditions Friday morning.
