LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- An SUV rear-ended a Jefferson County Public Schools bus Wednesday afternoon.
A JCPS spokesperson said there were 30 students from Dixie Elementary School on board during the crash in the area of 13000 block of Dixie Highway but there were "no serious injuries" reported.
Some students complained of neck pain and will be evaluated. Louisville police said six students received minor and possible minor injuries.
JCPS said all other students will be picked up by another bus and taken home. The bus number is 1347.
All lanes of Dixie Highway, just south of Blevins Gap Road, were shut down just before 3 p.m., Louisville emergency officials said. They reopened about an hour later.
