LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Western Kentucky University students had to quickly make new living arrangements after structural issues were found in their dormitory.
Students residing in Hilltopper Hall were informed Wednesday that they need to move because of a shift in the building's façade.
The university has been providing assistance to students to evacuate, and many have been moved to McCormack, Douglas Keene and Pierce Ford Tower. Students who decide to remain on campus will receive a $1,000 credit, and will only be responsible for paying the dorm rate of Hilltopper Hall.
The moving process is expected to continue through Feb. 4.
