LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB)---It's an emotional plea for help from friends and family of 21-year-old Charlotte Clark.
"It's been really hard and it's not fair. Somebody out there knows something," says Amanda Vatter, Charlotte Clark's best friend.
In 2011, the mother of two lived at the Hutchinson Square Apartments, located along Del Park Terrace in West Louisville.
It was in front of the apartments that someone shot Clark in mid-July.
"I dropped her off 15 minutes before she was killed," says Christy Clark, Charlotte Clark's sister.
Her sister and best friend say they think about that night often.
"Everyday. Every day I wake up and every night before I go to sleep," says Amanda Vatter.
Along with Charlotte Clark, a man was also shot, but survived.
Clark's family says it's been hard to get answers about what happened.
"The night that she was killed, there was more than fifteen people with her and I just want someone to come forward because I know they know something," says Christy Clark.
While the family continues to take Clark's death day by day, they say it's hard to move forward.
She left behind a young son and daughter and never got to meet her niece.
"The fact that she's never met my daughter kills me. I was 5 months pregnant when she died," says Christy Clark.
The family held a vigil earlier this year to remember Clark and still wear reminders of her.
As more days pass, they're fearful the case won't be solved.
That's why they're hoping, now more than ever, that someone will finally come forward and turn in the person responsible for this murder.
"He's spending time with his family on holidays and I'm visiting my sister in the grave," says Christy Clark.
"If we can do anything it would bring justice to her family and to her babies," says Amanda Vatter.
Police tell us this is still an ongoing investigation and encourage anyone with information to give them a call at 574-LMPD.
