LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- People in Bullitt County could hear some loud noises due to Fort Knox military training exercises later this week.

Bullitt County Fiscal Court said the military training is scheduled for May 16-18. The training exercises include aircraft, maneuvers and weapons firing in daytime and nighttime hours.

The fiscal court said the training is an important aspect of maintaining critical capabilities and readiness of all units.

"This notice is provided as a courtesy for residents of the greater Fort Knox area," Bullitt County Fiscal Court posed on Facebook. "Increased noise and vibrations may be experienced during this period."
