LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A free Narcan training session will be held next week in Louisville's Portland neighborhood.
The Good Neighbor Alliance of Portland will host the free training at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 12, at the Molly Leonard Portland Community Center on 27th Street.
Officials said the training will help educate the community to learn more about how to effectively administer Narcan in case of an opioid overdose.
Free kits will be provided after the training.
