LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — One of Louisville's most popular restaurants is growing again and adding something customers haven't seen before.

House of Marigold is set to open a new location in Norton Commons this August, bringing the restaurant's first-ever dinner service to the Louisville neighborhood.

According to our partners at Louisville Business First, the new restaurant will open at 10715 Meeting St. in the former Gustavo's Mexican Grill space. The more than 3,000-square-foot location will serve the restaurant's seasonal, Southern-inspired menu while also introducing dinner options, craft cocktails and a full coffee program.

The expansion marks another milestone for co-founders Kris and Adrienne Cole, who launched Marigold Catering Co. in 2019 before opening The House of Marigold's flagship Middletown restaurant in 2023.

"When we opened The House of Marigold in Middletown, we envisioned a different kind of hospitality for Louisville, less transactional and more like coming home," Adrienne Cole said in a statement to LBF.

The Norton Commons opening is one of several changes for the growing brand. Another House of Marigold location is expected to open later this year in NuLu.

The restaurant has earned local and national recognition in recent years. In 2024, Southern Living magazine named House of Marigold the Best Restaurant in Kentucky, and Adrienne Cole was selected for the James Beard Foundation's Women's Entrepreneurial Leadership program in 2025.

The Norton Commons location is expected to be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
