LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Saturday provided the perfect weather as hundreds strolled downtown Louisville while enjoying some wine.

The sixth annual Wine on the River event was held at the Belvedere downtown.

It was a celebration of wine, bourbon, music, and plenty of local food — all to support the Boys & Girls Clubs of Kentuckiana.

Guests received a souvenir glass and visited several tasting stations to sample wines from around the region. The event was hosted by several local radio stations.

"People of all different backgrounds are getting along here when it comes to wine of if you're just marketing or if you are just out communicating with people enjoying Louisville and taking everything that this city has, like the southern hospitality, you can get it all right here," said Austin Montgomery with iHeartRadio. "It's a great fall fest."
