LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- An Interstate 64 ramp in Crawford County is scheduled to close April 7 due to construction, according to Indiana Department of Transportation.
INDOT said E&B Paving, Inc. will close the I-64 eastbound on-ramp from State Road 66 to complete a drainage pipe replacement project.
The on-ramp from S.R. 66 at Exit 92 in Carefree, Indiana is expected to reopen in early May. The eastbound exit ramp will remain open, according to a news release.Â
INDOT said motorists should use the official detour route, which follows I-64 westbound to S.R. 237 to Exit 86 to I-64 eastbound.
INDOT recommends drivers to slow down, use extra caution and avoid distractions when traveling in and near work zones.
