LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The sounds of Soul filled the air in downtown Louisville on Saturday.

The Sky Soul Festival was held for the first time on the Great Lawn at Waterfront Park. The music festival featured R&B and hip-hop music. Headliners included Anthony Hamilton and the Tones, KeKe Wyatt, Dru Hill and Doug E. Fresh.

There were also vendors, food and drinks.

"This vibe is for the adults, the grown folks, it has that family reunion vibe, you feel like you're with your play cousins, your auntie, your grandmother's house, in the backyard," said Chea K, the festival host. "You got good food, good music."

A portion of the proceeds supports the Sky Foundation, which awards music scholarships to children.
