LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Indiana students are getting another break on tuition.
Gov. Mike Braun announced tuition and mandatory fees will remain frozen for a second consecutive year at every public college and university in the state.
The freeze covers Indiana University, Ball State University, Ivy Tech Community College, Purdue University, Vincennes University and the University of Southern Indiana. It also applies to each school's main and regional campuses.
Braun said keeping tuition flat will help in-state undergraduate students and their families manage the cost of college.
It's the first time in Indiana history that every state university has kept tuition and mandatory fees unchanged for two years in a row.
