LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Indiana Governor’s Residence is decked out for the holiday season, and Hoosiers can take a look through a new set of photos released this week.
The images show Christmas decorations throughout the home, featuring a classic holiday look with family-themed details. A decorated tree greets visitors near the entrance, while stockings and other seasonal items are displayed inside the private living areas.
“Christmas is a time to reflect, celebrate faith and family, and appreciate meaningful traditions,” First Lady Maureen Braun said. “I wanted the Residence to feel warm and familiar, while being mindful of using what we already have.”
State officials say the decorations were put together using items already on hand, along with personal and donated pieces, and did not cost taxpayers anything.
The photos give the public a seasonal glimpse inside the Governor’s Residence as Christmas approaches.
