LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Louisville Orchestra is preparing for their big weekend as they combine forces with Jack Harlow for an epic hometown concert series.
No Place Like Home is kicking off Friday and Saturday at Whitney Hall at the Kentucky Center in downtown Louisville.Â
Louisville Orchestra Music Director Teddy Abrams visited WDRB Mornings on Monday and said he's become friends with the rapper over the years.
The two have talked about what a collaboration would look like and they decided to do something totally original.
"This is not going to be just a Jack Harlow show with the orchestra backing it up," Abrams said. "This is a custom-made style of music that's been created that the orchestra plays throughout, creating an extraordinary sound world that's really quite unusual for any kind of collaboration with a hip hop artist."
Very few tickets are left for both shows. They can be purchased here.
