LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Louisville Ballet's newest performance combines elegance with songs by Louisville native Jack Harlow.
The performance, titled "502," is being choreographed by Ching Ching Wong to the artist's music. Wong visited WDRB Mornings on Monday and said ballet and hip hop actually go together well because they're both about technique and storytelling.
"502 is all about celebrating the hometown hero," Wong said. "Of course, that's a bow and homage to the wonderful music of Jack Harlow, but I really think it speaks to the hometown hero in all of us."
The performance is set to run from Nov. 1 through Nov. 3 at the Brown Theatre. Tickets can be purchased here.
