LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Kentucky Derby 150 is just about six weeks away and the push is on to hire as many people as possible to make it a success.

Churchill Downs, Andy Frain Services, and the Derby museum held its annual job fair at the track on Saturday.

Hundreds of jobs were available from ticket operations guest services, security, servers, cooks and much more.

Many of there jobs are part-time and seasonal -- and the turnout was big.

"To see how the community has turned out and want to be part of the celebration along with us at Churchill Downs it is truly heartwarming that fact that so many people want to be part of this," Churchill Downs President Mike Anderson said.

If you missed the event, you can still apply online.
