Kentucky State Fair offering a new way to experience concert series in style

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- If you're looking for a new way to experience the Kentucky State Fair this year, how about staying in a luxury suite?

Guests are invited to enjoy the Texas Roadhouse Concert Series in some brand new mobile suites.

Packages include admission for up to 35 people, and there are 10 nights available.

The suites are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The concert series kicks off on Aug. 15 and runs through Aug. 25. All concerts are included with fair admission, and range from 80s hair bands and iconic country acts, to hip-hop.

Wednesday, August 21: Justin Moore with special guest Alex Miller*

Except Aug. 25, the concert area opens daily at 6:30 p.m. and concerts begin at 8 p.m. On Aug. 25, the area opens at 5:30 p.m. with the concert beginning at 7 p.m.

Music is also scheduled for the full 11-day run of the fair in both the Big Tent and the Budweiser Tent.

Tickets on sale now

Tickets for the 120th Kentucky State Fair are on sale now. Tickets are available online through Ticketmaster for $8, and fee-free tickets are available at participating Kroger locations for $9. Parking is included with early bird ticket prices, which saves fairgoers the $10 parking fee. To purchase tickets online, click here.

Thrill Ville Ride Wristbands on sale

Thrill-seekers looking for all-day ride wristbands can purchase their Thrill Ville wristbands for $30 now. That's a $5 savings. Wristbands can be purchased online or at participating Kroger locations. At least 50 rides and the iconic Astro Ferris Wheel are part of the midway.

121st World's Championship Horse Show

The world’s most prestigious horse show returns to Freedom Hall Aug. 17-24. The 121st event features more than 200 classes of Saddlebred horses and thousands of participants from around the country competing for over $1.5 million in prizes and World’s Champion titles. Tickets are on sale now and available on the World’s Championship Horse Show website.
