LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) --Â Country music artist JD Shelburne is officially headed to the Grand Ole Opry stage.
The Taylorsville, Kentucky native will make his Opry debut next Saturday, July 5, marking a major milestone in his music career.
Shelburne has released six albums over the years, and is best known for his two #1 singles "Church Pew Barstool" and "Cars & Trucks." He has also performed the national anthem at major sporting events including the Kentucky Derby and NASCAR races.
No stranger to community support, Shelburne has dozens of hometown billboards, fan events, and local honors to his name. He's quickly become a beloved figure across Kentucky.
He has also made several appearances on WDRB Mornings, and always joins in on Jude's Jingle Tree every year.
Shelburne will be joined by Bill Anderson, Gary Mule Deer, Crystal Gayle, and more to be announced.
