LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Police are investigating after a man was shot in the Algonquin neighborhood early Tuesday.Â
It happened just before 5:30 a.m., according to a news release from LMPD. That's when officers were sent to the 1700 block of Patton Court, which is not far from the Parkhill Community Center on S. 13th Street.
When officers arrived they found the victim with a gunshot wound. Officers started first aid until EMS arrived. The victim was "alert and conscious" when he was taken to UofL Hospital "with injuries that are believed to be non-life threatening."
