LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — There are 15 apps the Nelson County Sheriff's Office says all parents should know about to keep their kids safe.

Those apps include dating apps like Meet Me, Grindr, Bumble, Badoo and Skout, which is a location-based dating app and website.

Although users under 17-years-old cannot share private photos, kids can easily create an account using a different age.

Other apps to be aware of include popular messaging apps like WhatsApp that allows users to send texts, photos and video chats worldwide, and Kik, where anyone can direct message your child.

ASKfm is an app known for cyber bullying.
