LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- PGA Championship fans will have no shortage of options when it comes to finding a piece of the tour to bring home with them.
The 50,000-square-foot PGA Shops at Valhalla Golf Club is the size of a football field, sitting near next week's Main Spectator Entrance. Inside are 50 registers and 1,200 types of merchandise for golf fans.
"It takes about two-and-a-half months to build this specific venue," Championship Director Ryan Ogle said Wednesday. "Our build, collectively, takes about three-and-a-half months total. So now, we are in the final phase, and to see it come together and all the hard work — it is really paying off."
The prices are about what you'd expect at a major championship. Hats are about $32, polos are about $90, and quarter-zips go for as much as $115. There are dozens of other items as well, like ball markers, flags, prints and more.
