LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Baseball is back in downtown Louisville as the Bats open their season Friday night, March 27, against Omaha at Louisville Slugger Field.

Opening night marks the return of $1 beers for the first time since 2024. The popular promotion runs from the time gates open until first pitch.

Fans will also be able to enjoy $6 margaritas as part of the team’s Margarita Madness promotion, which returns for the 2026 season.

The first 2,500 fans through the gates will receive a magnet schedule to help track the season ahead. Opening night doubles as College Night, with $6 general admission tickets available to students with a valid college ID.

Adding to the entertainment, the fan-favorite ZOOperstars! will be on hand to perform between innings.

Tickets are on sale now. Single-game tickets for the rest of the season go on sale Feb. 4.
