LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A local boy who has beat cancer two times wants to bring a little joy to his fellow patients.
Aiden Johnson knows how much he loves Legos, so he figured he'd buy some for other children battling pediatric cancer at Kosair Children's Hospital. Aiden partnered up with Texas Roadhouse to raise the money.
After a month of fundraising, Aiden was able to buy $15,000 worth of Lego sets, which he will now deliver.
"When I was sick, I built Legos when I was getting chemo to pass my time," Aiden said.
The fundraising effort was so successful there was enough money left over to buy new furniture for the pediatric cancer floor at Kosair.
