LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — The Louisville Fire Department is looking to expand its ranks and is accepting applications for new firefighters.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma or GED, and have a clean criminal record. Candidates will also need to pass both written and physical exams, along with a background check.
Starting pay is just over $67,000 a year.
The deadline to apply is July 12. Applications are available online.
