LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Grammy nominations were announced Friday, and it had a Louisville gospel artist sending up praise.

Ricky Dillard's "Choirmaster 2" is up for "Best Gospel Album" this year, and Louisville's own Jason Clayborn is featured on it.

Clayborn is a soloist and co-writer on the song "Not Far Away."

It's not the first Grammy glory for the worship leader from Saint Stephen Church. Clayborn was nominated in 2017.

Clayborn isn't the only local musician nominated for the awards. Oldham County band Knocked Loose also scored a nomination in the "Best Metal Performance" category for their song "Suffocate."

The 67th annual Grammy Awards takes place Feb. 2, 2025 in Los Angeles.
