LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man was run over and killed after getting out of a rideshare car on a snowy hill in Louisville's Clifton Heights neighborhood.
Louisville Metro Police spokesperson Aaron Ellis said the man was in the back of the car just before 9:30 a.m. Monday on North Hite Avenue, just off Brownsboro Road. The man decided to get out and walk the rest of the way because the car was having issues navigating the snowy hill.Â
The man then walked behind the car, but the driver didn't see him as he began backing down the hill toward Brownsboro Road. The man was run over and pronounced dead on scene by emergency responders.
The driver of the car remained on scene, and no charges are expected.
