LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Louisville man was killed early Friday in a crash in Crestwood, according to Oldham County Police.
Officers responded to the crash just before 8 a.m. near the 2800 block of North Highway 1694, according to police. That's off Covered Bridge Road near Foxhollow Farm.
Police said a vehicle was headed north and was in the curve approaching Harrods Crossing Boulevard when the driver lost control and hit a tree off the right side of the road.
The driver, a 51-year-old woman from Louisville, was transported to UofL Hospital with injuries not thought to be life-threatening.
The vehicle's passenger, Roberto Mencia Sr., 46, of Louisville, was pronounced dead at the scene from his injuries.
