LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A Louisville park just got some big upgrades.
Hays Kennedy Park is off River Road and now has six new pickleball courts, revamped tennis and basketball courts.
It's part of Phase 1 of the project. Over $600,000 is being invested for the project.
"I'm focused on making our city safer, stronger and healthier," Mayor Craig Greenberg said. "And one way we have a healthy city is by having great parks."
Hays Kennedy Park was hit by an EF-2 tornado last spring.
