LOUISVILLE, KY. — Louisville's "Triple Crown of Running" series wraps up this weekend with the University of Louisville 10 Mile.
The race kicks off at 7:30 a.m. Saturday, April 4 at L&N Federal Credit Union Stadium. The actual starting line is located at S. 4th Street and Central Avenue, adjacent to Churchill Downs.
The scenic race route will take runners through the city's Beechmont neighborhood and Iroquois Park, with an on-field finish at L&N stadium.Â
The race comes with several street closures and no parking areas in which are listed below courtesy of the Louisville Metro Police Department.
Road Closures:
- 3 a.m. to 10 a.m.
- Oakdale Avenue from Central Avenue to South 3rd Street
- South 4th Street from Central Avenue to Iowa Avenue
- 6 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
- Central Avenue from Finn Avenue to South 3rd Street
- 6:30 a.m. to Noon
- Amphitheater Road from Kenwood Drive to Rundill Road
- Rundill Road from Amphitheater Road from Iroquois Park Road
- Iroquois Park Road from Rundill Road to New Cut Road
- 7 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
- South 3rd Street from Central Avenue to Oakdale Avenue
- Southern Parkway from South 3rd Street to Taylor Boulevard/New Cut Road
- New Cut Road from Southern Parkway to Palatka Road
- Taylor Boulevard from Southern Parkway to Bluegrass Avenue
- Central Avenue from South 3rd Street to South Floyd Street
- 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
- South Floyd Street from Central Avenue to Byrne Avenue
No Parking Areas:
