LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A 19-year-old man is dead after a crash involving a dirt bike and vehicle Friday evening in south Louisville.
John Bradley, a spokesman for the Louisville Metro Police Department, said officers responded to a crash at 10:40 p.m. in the area of Taylor Boulevard and West Ashland Avenue.
Police said a man was driving a "non-street legal" dirt bike and was involved in a crash with a vehicle. The man was taking to UofL Hospital where he later died.
The victim was identified by the Jefferson County Coroner's Office Saturday as 19-year-old Seth Jones.
The driver of the vehicle remained on scene and wasn't injured. It's unknown at this time how the crash occurred.
There was another crash in the area while the scene was being managed between two vehicles but there were no injuries.
