LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man died Thursday morning after a single-car crash in Louisville's Bon Air neighborhood.
Louisville Metro Police spokesperson Aaron Ellis said officers responded around 10:30 a.m. to the report of a car that crashed into a building at the corner of Goldsmith and Hikes lanes.Â
Officers said the building was damaged from the crash, so the Louisville Fire Department and EMS crews were called to the scene. The only buildings surrounding that intersection are single-family homes.
The driver of the car and transported to UofL Hospital with what police called a "medical emergency." He died at the hospital, Ellis said.
No other vehicles were involved, and no one inside or outside the building was injured.
