LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man housed at Louisville Metro Corrections was taken to the hospital after being stabbed on Monday morning.Â
Jason Logsdon, the public spokesperson for Louisville Metro Corrections, said a fight between two inmates happened around 10:57 a.m. at the jail. One of the men used a "fabricated weapon" to stab the other man.
The man who was stabbed was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to Logsdon. The assailant was identified and segregated, Logsdon said.
LMDC Professional Standards Unit is handling the criminal investigation. Logsdon said charges are pending the investigation.
